“Rover Scout Service at Hajj Camp”
“We were inspired by the opportunity to serve Hajj pilgrims and support them during their sacred journey. As members of Bangladesh Scouts, we are committed to helping people, ensuring safety, and providing service with responsibility and care. This motivation led us to take part in the Hajj camp duty and assist pilgrims with guidance and support.”
“We executed the project as members of Bangladesh Scouts through proper planning and teamwork. A total of 35 Scout and Rover members were assigned duties for 6 hours per day from 16 April to 22 April. We worked in shifts to guide Hajj pilgrims, show directions to restrooms and rooms, assist with carrying luggage, and help lost pilgrims reach their destinations safely. We maintained discipline, coordination, and respect to ensure smooth and effective service throughout the duty period.”
“Through this project, we learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility in real-life service situations. We also developed communication skills and learned how to assist people calmly and respectfully under pressure. The experience strengthened our sense of empathy, leadership, and commitment to serving humanity as members of Bangladesh Scouts.”
