Rescue work during flash floods
Our scout team was driven to take proactive measures as people in Feni district became trapped and endangered due to flash floods. We aim to equip ourselves with the necessary skills and resources to respond quickly and effectively during such crises. Our motivation lies in serving the community and providing critical assistance to first responders
Feni residents saw one of the worst floods in the country's history. As a result of flash floods, people could not move to safe places. When the flood started we took a boat and left for Feni. We rescued those who were trapped in the water and came to the shelter. We carried out rescue operations for three consecutive days when we started providing relief to people who were seen to have moved to safer places and we took emergency patients and people to and from shelters.
We witnessed one of the worst floods in the history of the country. The suffering of the flood is more than the people. I have been able to comfort myself a little by standing next to people during this danger. I went there and saw the horrors of natural disasters. We should be prepared for any natural calamity
