My name is waguma Trevor a scout from uganda jinja city, I grew up in a society of struggling people( mostly the female gender) when it came to days of their periods then even the facing a crisis of unemployment when I saw a foundation of African child then I was inspired I and the team in partnership with jinja scouts we started our first camp in namasagali in 2024
Worked as a team in mobilization for fundraising events and we managed to raise some funds in which we bought materials we used during our outreach like materials for making reused sanitary pads, materials for making liquid soap, shampoo and petroleum Jerry which has changed lives of the people we trained as they gave us a positive feedback that they are now making money through the things we taught them
I learnt that helping is a source of blessings because the people we helped were praying for us for positive success
