Plastic-Free Camping: Awareness Posters
I was motivated to reduce plastic waste during camping activities and encourage Scouts to adopt environmentally friendly habits. Through awareness posters and education, I aimed to promote a cleaner and more sustainable camping environment.
I organized a plastic-free camping awareness initiative by creating and displaying informative posters throughout the campsite. The posters highlighted the harmful effects of plastic pollution and encouraged participants to use reusable and eco-friendly alternatives. I also interacted with campers to promote responsible waste management and sustainable practices.
Through this project, I learned the importance of environmental awareness and responsible behavior during outdoor activities. I improved my leadership and communication skills while encouraging others to reduce plastic use and protect the environment.
