Peling Choekhor: A Service Along People
This year Samtse dzongkhag is graced by His Holliness Kyabgye Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche for spiritual transmission and empowerment. So, as a responsible citizen and a community member we volunteered to facilitate this event.
From 26th December till 7th February, scouts and dessups volunteered to serve food and drinks in morning and manage waste in evening, while some desuups helped in crowd management and some police looked after traffic. From 9 am to 6 pm all the volunteers ensured smooth facilitatation while shouldering their responsibility.
Through this volunteerism I was fortunate to learn about building friendship, creating memories and helping others
