Peace Day celebration

Aim/Objective
  1. To make aware why world peace day is celebrated.
  2. To talk about the importance of peace to the future generation.
  3. To educate about the climate change and its consequences.
  4. Know how climate change leads to world peace.

The day started with National Anthem in the MPH. Mr. Chenga gave the welcome speech and presentation about the day. So it is very important to give the flat form to the young minds to share their feelings about the peace. Therefore more than 10 students delivered the speech about peace which was very amazing to hear from the students.  After that we gave the prizes for the art competition and best speaker to encourage and boost their interest towards such literary habits in future. Principal highlighted about the day and why climate change is important and also how single step can help in contributing towards climate change. Mr. Sonam Zangpo gave the vote of thanks and presented the summarize the whole program in short presentation. The program ended with the Luyang Choepa of HM 4th Druk Gyalpo.

 Then after the tea break we had a photo session. We divided in to two groups  were we went to two different directions (one in lhengkhar village and Gardung village) for peace walk. In other hand we did cleaning campaign and we made awareness to the people whom we met on the way. So we gathered again in front of the school gate and segregated the waste. The day was ended with the lunch for all.
