1st Fobeni – Paint and Colour ECD Centre The 1st Fobeni Scout Group in Limpopo gave back to their community by painting and decorating a crèche. The 24 Scouts, parents and adult volunteers made the crèche looks like a new home away from home. 1st Fobeni Scout Group from Keep the Dream 196 decided that they were going to make a change and help the children that attend the crèche. Scouter Angelina Malatji brought together Scouts, parents and other volunteers and she put her plan into action. The Group started by cleaning the crèche. After this the group painted the crèche the first time. When the paint was dry the group decorated the crèche with numbers, animals and letters on the wall. So the parents can now leave there children during the day at a wonderful coloured centre whilst at work. An ECD teacher says “We are happy and we wish all the best to 1st Fobeni troop and people who sponsored them. 42 parents register their kids for the ECD.”
