The Republic of the Philippines had its National and Local Elections last May 9, 2016. Candidates vying for positions used flyers and posters as one of the means for campaign purposes. After the election, a lot of these paraphernalias were left on the roads and walls making these structures dirty. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines thru the Emergency Service Corps of the Davao City Council conducted an Operation Baklas to remove these materials. At the same time, to contribute to the sanitation and cleanliness.
