We were going to a poor small school in Kandy as service project. We were collected the all kind of necessary items for education and for school activities. collected books from my friends , neighbors and bought some books. Main aim of this project is to donate our collected items as a girts to a poor school on 1st October at '' The Children ' s Day''. 39 Scouts and 5 Scout Masters visited the school on 1st October 2016. We left out our school at 5.45 a.m. in our college bus. Kandy Madduma Bandara Vidyalaya located at the Kandy town where as the children of poor families lived. As we got near the school in Kandy we changed to our scout uniform. We reached near the school but our bus stopped because the road was small. We loaded donating things to a small lorry, then we walked to the school. We reached the school and the school students welcomed us along with their teachers. The school was very small and the total number of students in the school was 58. After that our programme began. One of the student gave a welcomed speech and their principle spoke to us. Our trip organizer was Master Pasindu also gave a speech. Next we were to give the girts wishing Happy Children's Day. All the children were very happy. All the students and teachers were very pleased about our programme. After the programme we lived the school at 2.45 p.m.
