Lokalogi Waste Bank
Lokalogi by Pramuka UGM has launched a Waste Bank program dedicated to all Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) students. This initiative is designed to help students manage their daily waste effectively, whether they live in boarding houses, dormitories, or are actively engaged in various campus activities.
Located at the Pramuka UGM Secretariat, the Lokalogi Waste Bank operates regularly every month. Students who deposit their waste are registered as active customers and stand a chance to exchange it for points or cash rewards. To ensure optimal processing and recycling, Lokalogi also establishes strategic collaborations with trusted waste management partners.
Through this initiative, Lokalogi aims to foster and elevate environmental awareness among the younger generation. This commitment has yielded tangible results; to date, the program has successfully engaged 32 active customers and collected over 50 kg of recyclable waste.
