Logistic Aid Distribution for Disaster Response

Seeing the disaster destroy livelihoods and families struggling for basic needs moved us. Our care drove us to distribute food aid and basic school supply as concrete solidarity—to ease their burden and ensure no one faces recovery on an empty stomach.
With local Scout councils and other disaster response unit, we distributed packages of rice, cooking oil, sugar, and essentials to affected families around West Sumatra and North Sumatra. The targeted distribution was done in a warm, family-like atmosphere with moral support, so every family felt seen and not alone.
We learned that a simple package of rice and essentials, delivered with warmth and genuine care, can restore hope and dignity. Meeting basic needs is the first step of healing—solidarity reminds survivors they are not forgotten, and that community strength begins with a full stomach.
