Kuakata Beach is free of Plastic waste
Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic materials in the environment, which subsequently has adverse effects on wildlife, wildlife habitats and even humans. That is why, through my efforts, I have witnessed how plastic pollution damages our environment and biodiversity. Taking action not only helps nature but also inspires others to join in the work. The satisfaction of seeing a place transformed from a polluted to a lifeless environment is an incredible reward that motivates me.
Kuakata, a beautiful venue in the south, was our group camp venue with a purpose beyond camping—beach clean-up and plastic pollution awareness. Rovers and Girl-in-Rovers united to remove plastic waste and educate others on recycling. This initiative wasn't just about cleaning but creating awareness and promoting shared responsibility. Together, we took a step toward a cleaner, greener future.
