Istana Hospitality
i have attended 7 Istana duty from 17 July 2015 to 8 September and will attend my 8th istana duty on the 29th of October 2016. i have served the duty of wheelchair-ing, front gate, central gate, crowd control, tearing of tickets and merchandising at the ticketing booth. The wheelchair duty allow me to interact with the public that required me to help them push the wheelchair. It exchanges culture of peace and creates positive changes by telling the public that scouts are very helpful and will not complain about their duty. Front gate and central gate exchanges culture of peace and create positive change by telling the public the right thing to do, this results in the public thinking scouts takes their duty seriously. Crowd control creates the most dialogue for exchange of culture of peace and positive changes as the public will usually ask whats the line toward the state room is and how much are the tickets. This will lead to a better mindset of scout treating their duty seriously. i have worked together with quite a lot of people, such as Evan lee kc from SJI, Aaron Chan from Monfort secondary, Mark Joshua John from Pajiwad, the whole unit of Soaring Eagles, Qing Zhe from Queenstown Sec. I'm going to do this duty until i can't due to O Level. I will use this istana hospitality to inspire others by telling them that service will be worth it if u enjoys it, going to such services makes me happy as i can meet new scout friends every duty i go to and i can hang out will some i met before. Being able to make new friends are my privileges and i shall not waste any of it. i will use the services in istana duty to work towards collective results dimension as it is a good thing to help others.
