Aims and Objective of the celebration

1. To create awareness on importance of peace.

2. To highlight methods to overcome climate change.

In order to create awareness on the importance of peace the students from class III to VIII participated in peace run. Children informed their parents and the community about the importance of the day. The people were encouraged to live peacefully with their neighbours following and obeying the laws, respecting each others and helping the community to maintain peace. 

As a part of Peace Day celebration the school conducted Investiture ceremony for the Scouts. The representative from school scouts memebers spoke about why we need to celebrate Peace Day and the ways to overcome climate change in order to ensure peace. The banners and posters with the theme "Climate Action for Peace" and some ways to curb climate change were displayed for all the students to read and dessiminate to others.
