A help to the People Effected by Wayand Landslide
Seeing the struggles of families displaced by the Wayanad landslide motivated us to take action. As Scouts and Rovers, we believe in serving communities during crises, and this was an opportunity to extend our support to those in need.
With the support of the district administration, we identified the urgent needs of relief camps. Our team collected essential food items, clothes, and hygiene kits from donors and well-wishers. The supplies were sorted, packed, and transported to the camps to ensure proper distribution to affected families.
This experience highlighted the power of teamwork and community support. We learned the importance of efficient planning in disaster response and developed a deeper sense of empathy for those in crisis. It also reinforced the need for structured preparedness in handling emergency relief operations.
