Harrisonburg Climate Strike brought together more than two hundred students and community members to stand up for climate action at the city, state, and national levels. We met two Fridays in a row in downtown Harrisonburg. Students walked out of school and off campus to join the rallies. There was a lot of local media coverage. It was part of the global Youth Climate Strike initiative led by Greta Thunberg.
