hi iam odil from 93rd colombo and recently we conducted a flood relief programme to help the victims who got caught up in the massive floods due to bad weather conditions.First and foremost we arrived at our national headquarters about 7:30am and we were waiting until 9:30am until everyone arrived.Later on we loaded the cleaning equipments and dry rations into the truck which was provided by the army and after a one hour journey we arrived at the gothetuwa maha vidyalaya which is situated in wellampitiya in Sri lanka.then we unloaded our goods and cleaning equipments and later on we were given masks to prevent us from getting diseases.Then we were seperated into groups and each group was given a class.we cleaned and washed the floors of the class rooms.After finishing it we went to the main hall and cleaned it also.After cleaning the hall we took a group photo and we were then provided with lunch.The service hour for me was 7 hours.Iam really happy of doing this project so that as a scout igot a big chance to help the people in need.
