Fire Drill 2025: Disaster Preparedness”
I was inspired to start this project because fire safety is a crucial skill that everyone, especially youth, should know. Working with firefighters provides hands-on experience and builds confidence to respond quickly and safely in emergencies. Empowering young people with these skills can save lives and create safer communities.
We collaborated with local firefighters to organize a fire drill. Participants practiced emergency evacuation, learned fire safety tips, and experienced real-time guidance from professionals to ensure everyone knows how to act safely during a fire.
Throughout this project, we learned the importance of teamwork and clear communication during emergencies. We realized that hands-on training with professionals like firefighters greatly boosts confidence and preparedness among youth. Also, early education on fire safety can save lives and reduce damage, making communities stronger and safer.
