Drive Smart, Arrive Alive: Traffic Safety Matters
The alarming rise in road accidents and the devastating impact on families motivated me to join this project. Witnessing the traffic police's efforts to curb this issue inspired me to contribute and spread awareness about safe driving practices.
I participated in Rashtriya Sadak Suraksha Maah Parvah 2026 initiated by traffic police with my rangering friends. We underwent training with traffic officers, learning about road safety rules, traffic symbols, and signs. We were assigned duties at different locations, assisting traffic officers and spreading awareness by interacting with people and encouraging helmet use. On the last day, we wrapped up with a rally, promoting safe driving practices .
I learned about the importance of road safety, traffic rules, and how to manage traffic efficiently. I also picked up some cool skills like guiding people, interacting with crowds, and working with a team. Plus, it drove home the message that small actions like wearing a helmet can make a big difference.
