Distribution of Fruit Seedlings to Cub Scouts
The inspiration for the project was to awaken in children the responsibility
of environmental sustainability issues, we work with children from 7 to 11 years old and provide them with this vision from an early age, being able to effectively collaborate with future generations on sustainability
The project was developed at the headquarters of the Scout Group Cascavel 41° PR with the distribution of seedlings of fruit trees, in partnership with the Secretariat of the Environment of the City of Cascavel, which provided the seedlings free of charge, as well as guidance on planting and monitoring of development of the plant, in the second phase demonstration by photo of the plant and report on the perceptions of how the plant has been developing and the definitive place of planting
At first, we can say that the direct impact would be for the families of the participants, around 30 families, but the future benefits are much more comprehensive about the benefits for the environment and society in general.
The learning related to the project is that our children want and need stimuli regarding social issues of environmental sustainability, we need to develop these stimuli to create awareness of creating a healthier environment for future generations, it is still possible to always cover more number of people, partnership with schools, associations, the community in general
