Dialogue with Homeless People

Housing is one of the important issues in Hong Kong. There are over thousand of people are homeless due to the income factors, family factors and personal factors. Most of the homeless people in Hong Kong stay in the inner city such as Sham Shui Po and Tsim Sha Tsui. A group of Rover Scouts coming from different Scout Groups joined together and initiated to visit the homeless people for dialogue to understand their situation, and at the same time giving them breads and lunchbox. This project last for 6 months, and the group visited them once a week at night during weekends. They also invited their friends to join the project so that more youth could have understood the situation and living environment of the homeless people.
