Creating beauty in small ways
As a scout leader i thought to show some example to my members so thay they can be able to make their own decion and lead themselves in daily activities.i want to be an exammplary to young mind and inspire them in te methods of scouting.
The project was implemented in the school. The areas in school have been ages old and everything needed maintainance. We started with cleaning the assembly ground which had tiles. After removing the grass, mosses and mud from the ground we swept the ground and started with painting of the tiles with red and blue paint.
We then cleaned the toilet and white washed it.
Then we painted the windows and doors of school hostel.
As the school became a clean and beautiful place for learning, it benefited all the teaching faculty and students and also made the community to appreciate the work.
I learnt the value of labour and hardwork, skills of working, team spirit and building friendship.
