Clean & Green: Community Hygiene Initiative
The project was motivated by the need to create a healthier and safer environment for the community. Many areas suffer from littering, poor sanitation, and pollution, which can lead to health risks and reduce the quality of life. Our goal was to promote cleanliness, hygiene awareness, and community responsibility.
The project was carried out by our Rover Scout group through organized community cleaning drives in public spaces such as parks, streets, and schools. Volunteers collected waste, separated recyclables, and raised awareness among residents about proper waste disposal and sanitation practices.
Through this project, we learned the importance of cleanliness for public health and sustainable living. We gained teamwork and organizational skills, understood the impact of community engagement, and realized how small, consistent efforts can significantly improve environmental quality.
