The Burleigh Heads Cub Packs and Joey Mob are bringing peace with self care packages. Every week the youth members bring an item for the donation box. toward the end of the term, these will be made into hampers for the homeless/under privileged within the district. We are asking the local Salvation Army representatives and representatives from Rosie's Soup Kitchen to attend a pack night to discuss what they do for the community to raise awareness within the group. The hampers will then be donated. Hampers not only contain non perishable, easy to heat and eat foods, but essential hygiene items such as toothpaste and toothbrush.
