In more than 50 cities of Greece, at about 80 spots, sea-Scout boats were placed for a few days in a central square, so that we could raise public awareness and collect medicines from the public. The boat is a symbol tied to the pain of those who are forced to flee their home because of war. This same boat became the symbol of our solidarity. Based on this concept, the Scouts of Greece executed a social media campaign through a spot that was aired on national TV, posters etc, so that local Groups could promote the event in their communities. The medical supplies offered by the people, where given to the "Medicines du Monde" to be used for refugees' relief!
