The Colombo district scout association branch of Sri Lanka scout association did a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Bangladesh embassy of Sri Lanka on the Feb 21 from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm at the Viharamahadevi Park open Air Theater. Eight senior scouts of Alethea Scout Group gave their best support in this great social event . The chief guest was Mr Karu Jayasooriya the speaker and ambassadors with Deputy Chief Commissioner of Scouting in Sri Lanka . It was a great social service to collect blood and donate to the blood bank of Sri Lanka. Nearly 200 people donated their blood. Our scouts were very much privileged to work with the Doctors and Nurses in this great task. We thank Ms Avanthi Fernando and Sir Suren Wikkrematilleke for Organising this meritorious activity
