The Silver Jubilee District in Hong Kong held the 52nd World Scout Environment Badge Course for its cub scouts in January 2019. As part of the course, leaders and cub scouts took part in a beach cleanup at the Starfish Bay in Wu Kai Sha. A total of 29 cubs and 15 leaders took part in this outing. The cub scouts felt that the beach cleanup was important. Not only had it help to reduce pollution, it also helped to protect marine wildlife.
