Awareness Class On diseases

Our inspiration came from seeing how easily preventable diseases like Malaria and Dengue spread simply due to a lack of awareness in our area. Gathering at the Den, setting up the space, and arranging the chairs and posters ourselves made us realize we had the platform to change that. We were driven by the simple idea that educating our community face-to-face could save lives.
We executed the project by gathering early at the Scout Den to completely set up the workshop space. Our team arranged the seating, positioned our handmade health posters for maximum visibility, and organized the educational pamphlets. Once the participants arrived, we opened the sessions, using the prepared space to smoothly deliver the presentations and lead the interactive discussions.
Setting up the space ourselves—carrying chairs, arranging posters, and testing the visual aids—taught us that a successful workshop relies entirely on logistics. We realized that if the room isn't welcoming and organized, people lose focus before you even start speaking. True community education begins with creating a comfortable environment where everyone can easily see, hear, and engage.
