Globally 1st December is celebrated as a "WORLD AIDS DAY"..with the theme 'Prevent,Test and Treat all,' Bhutan celebrates the day which was officially celebrated since 1993 and its 23rd years of celebration as of now. More than hundreds of people were advocated by ministry of health on this issue through entertainment programs and blood test in collaboration with Lhaksam here at Thimphu. With that their were hundreds of registered tested people for a day, health official said Bhutan is aiming by 2020 to make all tested and treated to prevent aids. This particular day provides us the space to thank all hardworking health personals around the world who have always dedicated their time and to remember all individuals for their contribution in taking action against aids. So,whole 2o districts of our country is celebrating this globally celebrated day...."AIDS, can be treated as well be prevented, is all for peace and lets be responsible."
