5Rs for a Greener Tomorrow
ASPCI BSP Outfit 435 initiated the 5Rs symposium to raise awareness about sustainable living and responsible waste management. Inspired by the growing environmental challenges in their community, the scouts aimed to empower youth to make eco-friendly choices. Their goal was to promote habits that reduce pollution, conserve resources, and protect nature for future generations.
The scouts hosted an engaging symposium at Brgy. Arac Gym, where they introduced the 5Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, and Refuse. Through interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, participants learned how everyday actions - like minimizing plastic use and repurposing materials - can make a lasting impact. The scouts emphasized that small, consistent efforts lead to a healthier planet and a more sustainable lifestyle.
