Ongoing project - we are not done yet! Every 2nd Saturday of the month, rain or shine, by Venturing Crew 9 in Dallas TX USA - from 5-50 Venture Scouts at a time (depending on our schedules) spend the morning working with other community volunteers (thank you For the Love of the Lake!) to pick up trash that gets washed into a city park at the mouth of a local lake. From Oct 2011 until today, this Crew has helped keep White Rock Lake and park clean, and the lake healthy. They work on the shoreline and on the water via kayaks (as they learn how to kayak!) NO end in sight, but here is our best guess for number of hours performed to date. Thank you!
