Several 1st Rivertrail Scouts took part in the South African National Litterless Campaign on 26 March 2023. We chose toc lean up litter along the Braamfontein Spruit (River) that flows past our scout hall following recent flooding of the river. The specific area chosen is along the spruit where the weekly Park Run occurs. Over 14 bags of rubbish, mainly plastic, was collected during the course of the morning.
