SCOUTS & GUIDE OF ANTALAHA CITY ACT FOR CLEAN UP OF THEIR HOMETOWN AFTER CYCLONE ENAWO
On 07 March, cyclone ENAWO entered the town of Antalaha in northern Madagascar. An entry that left considerable damage to the local population: public and private buildings were destroyed, food crops were swept away by torrential rains, or swallowed up with rising water, the vanilla crops that are renowned for this city are Destroyed, resulting in a consequence for world trade.
Scout in action "We can count on us", once the waters are evacuated, without delay, the "Tily Eto Madagasikara" headed by the district commissioner Fety Jean Eddie aka Fosa Malina alongside his colleagues district commissioners, Local and CARE International agencies have given their hand to clean the streets and squares of the city of Antalaha. On March 25th, the Scouts and Guides members of the Malagasy Scout Federation will work together to put into practice their promises "Serve the the country" by giving a blow of broom to the city to regain its splendors after the passage of EANWO.
648 scouts and guides need aid after the cyclone ENAWO, which according to the census of the last ten years is considered the strongest recorded in Madagascar.
