We launched the Nigerian Plastic Tide Turners Challenge in Edo State, Nigeria, engaging 30 young scouts from 23 states. Motivated by the need to offer impactful youth programs in our NSO, this initiative aimed to empower scouts as ambassadors for environmental action. Participants underwent training in plastic usage audits, community impact, and project planning, and committed to spreading these efforts back in their regions. Our vision is to reach 1,200 scouts nationwide, fostering a culture of sustainability and advocacy.
