Give hands to ohters "the victims of Enawo Cyclone" made by Madagascar Scouting and Guiding federation.
From 6 to 9 March 2017, Madagascar from the north-east in the region of Sambava, passing through the central highlands to finish in the south-western region of Madagascar Tuléar have suffered the consequences of the passage of ENAWO. A tropical storm that did a lot of damage to its passage, destoying 13.080 houses, leaving more than 170.000 homeless, 50 dead, 20 missing. As it passes through the region of Sambava Antalaha (the world capital of vanilla), 100% of Vanilla plantations are devastated. In the capital, the three great rivers that surround the capital have overflowed, leaving several places and districts of the capital under water. Several disaster victims have been identified and moved to the Ankadinandriana primary school (on the heights of the city), or to the gymnasium of the National Sports Academy, or to the Ankorondrano gymnasium etc.
Faced with this observation, the Federation of Malagasy guiding & Scouting organized a telethon in front of the public primary school overlooking the Andrianampoinimerina avenue on Saturday 11 March 2017 to furnish the immediate needs of the victims. Scouts and guide and the Tananarivian population responded en masse to this emergency call, bringing each of the clothes, food: rice the main food Malagasy people, candle, school needs blankets etc. To thank each donor, a certificate was issued as a thank. Among other things, an urn provided by the BNGRC or National Bureau for Risk and Disaster Management has been made available for a quest. The latter will be handed over to the headquarters of the BNGRC this Wednesday 15th March at 16h.
The Scouts and Guides have also lent their support to the BNGRC for the psychological support of these disaster-stricken citizens, as well as to advise people on how to organize them at these shelters for disaster victims. Not to mention the installation of facilities and facilities on each site
