Cluster Camp
I was motivated to participate in the six-day Scout Cluster Camp to learn new skills, share knowledge with fellow Scouts, and improve my rope work abilities. The camp provided a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience, interact with other Scouts, and develop confidence through hands-on learning.
The six-day Scout Cluster Camp was organised by the Thimphu Thromde Scout Association (TTSA) during the summer vacation after the examinations. My main responsibility was rope work, where I learned, practised, and demonstrated different types of knots and proper rope techniques. After gaining confidence and understanding the correct methods, I took the initiative to teach and guide other Scouts.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, patience, communication, and sharing knowledge with others. It strengthened my practical skills, self-confidence, and sense of responsibility. The experience also taught me that learning becomes more meaningful when we share our knowledge and help others develop new skills.
