
Celebration of World Thinking Day
World Thinking Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 22nd February 2025 to honour the International Girl Guides and Girl Scouts movement. This special day also marks the birth anniversary of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouts and Guides, and his wife Olave Baden-Powell, who served as the World Chief Guide.
The event was graced by two resource persons, Mr. Ankan Chatterjee and Mr. Trinanjan Adhikary, both Rovers from Nawabganj S.B. Scout Group. The Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, and Guides actively participated in the celebration, engaging in various insightful activities. The program commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting followed by a Rapid-Fire and Memory Game focused on the significance of Thinking Day
Additionally, a Hand Wash Pledge was taken by all participants, reinforcing the importance of hygiene and personal responsibility. Throughout the event, students exhibited great enthusiasm and dedication, reflecting the true spirit of the Scouts and Guides movement. The celebration successfully instilled a sense of awareness, responsibility, and teamwork among the participants, making it a memorable and inspiring occasion for all.
