Welcome to the Mind Builders challenge! Ready to master resilience and your mental health? This challenge will take you on a journey to explore the many building blocks of mental health.
Get started on this journey, gather all the tools, and put them into practice to earn your Mind Builders badge!

  • Become an advocate of mental health in your community
  • Learn active listening and building healthier relationships
  • Connect meaning and purpose to things you do

In case you didn't know…

  • Physical activity, like playing sports or going for a walk, can boost your mood and reduce stress.
  • Getting enough sleep is crucial for your mental health. Aim for 8-10 hours of sleep each night to feel rested and ready for the day.
  • Practicing mindfulness, like deep breathing or meditation, can help you stay calm and focused.
  • Helping others and being kind can boost your own mood and create a positive environment.
  • Playing and having fun are important for your mental health. Make time for activities that you enjoy and make you laugh.
  • It's okay to ask for help if you're feeling overwhelmed or sad. Talking to a trusted adult, like a parent, teacher, or Scout leader, can provide support and guidance.

8 steps to digital badge success

  1. Agree with your Leader on the activities and community project you want to do.
  2. Complete a minimum of 5 activities from our activity bank (next page).
  3. Answer the reflection questions after each activity.
  4. Complete your community service project related to mental health and mindfulness.
  5. Reflect with your Adult Leader on your experience during the challenge and how your project is making a positive change.
  6. Share your project story on sdgs.scout.org.
  7. Wait up to a week for the feedback email.
  8. Congratulations on a job well done! Your digital badge is in your account.
