Youth in Action for a Healthier Community
We wanted young people to take an active role in protecting their environment while also learning about important health and social topics. Our goal was to turn awareness into practical action in schools and the community.
We organized the “Treasure Hunt” environmental clean-up with 162 students and conducted four training sessions in four schools. The trainings reached 604 children and covered menstrual hygiene and state symbols.
We learned that combining practical action with education helps young people understand community issues better and encourages them to take responsibility for positive change.
