The Scouts and Guides of MAHARISHI VIDYA MANDIR, KUMBAKONAM celebrated the International Day of Peace 2016 in their School Campus and around area on 21/09/2016 we celebrated International Day of Peace in our Schooll as per the guidance of our District Secretary and with the blessings of our Senior Principal and Correspondent Mr Namathcivayam Sir who is the State treasurer of The Bharath Scouts and Guides, Tamilnadu and with the supervision of Principal Madam. 155 Scouts and 87 Guides participated in this Program. Scout Master J Krishnamoorthy HWB/R, Adv SM and Guide Captain Mrs Anuradha HWB/G arranged and coordinated the program. All the students draw and colored various pictures in the topic of MESSENGER OF PEACE. Total Participants 247. Hours 60 mts. Total Service Hours 247 hrs. Planned to plant trees in this week in school campus in this week and maintain by scouts and guides. Also conducted the PEACE RUN.
