Waves of Change: Cabadbaran Scouts Lead!
Inspired by the urgent need to protect our oceans and take action against plastic pollution. As Scouts, we believe youth can lead real change. By joining the City-Wide Coastal Clean-Up, we answered the call to serve, showing that environmental stewardship starts with us—right here, right now.
Scouts began with careful planning—processing documents, meeting with stakeholders, and conducting orientations to ensure coordination. On clean-up day, the Scouts of Cabadbaran teamed up with CENRO, teachers, students, and the Barangay Tolosa community. Armed with gloves, tongs, and shared purpose, everyone collected and sorted coastal waste—turning their Greenskills advocacy into real, visible action for the environment.
Scouts and everyone who joined learned that true impact comes from teamwork, preparation, and persistence. Despite strong waves and coordination challenges, our shared commitment pushed us forward. This project taught us that youth-led action, when united with community support, can overcome obstacles and create real change for the planet.
