Support for National TCV Campaign 2025.
I wanted to step up for the National Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV) campaign because typhoid is a serious health risk for children in our community. As a Rover Scout, our core duty is to serve the people and the country. Seeing the scale of this national health initiative motivated me and my group to volunteer, help the local healthcare workers, and make sure families felt supported and informed when bringing their children for vaccination.
From October 12 to October 23, 2025, our Rover Scout team was on the ground every day at the vaccination centers. We broke our execution down into a few practical areas: we managed the crowds to keep the center disciplined and calm, helped families fill out their vaccine cards, and maintained organized lines to speed up the process. We also assisted the health workers with logistics and distributed leaflets to people in the area to spread awareness about typhoid prevention.
This project was a huge learning experience for us. We realized how important clear communication is when dealing with worried parents and restless crowds. Managing lines and keeping order taught us a lot about patience and teamwork. It felt great to see how our small efforts helped the health workers do their jobs faster, and it really showed us the impact we can make when we work together for our community.
