Small Step, Big Impact
The increasing environmental issues such as global warming, pollution, and reduction of green cover inspired us to take a small but meaningful step towards protecting nature. Trees play an important role in maintaining ecological balance, providing oxygen, reducing heat, and improving air quality.
Dug pits in the selected area for planting the saplings.
Carefully removed the saplings from the grow bags without damaging the roots.
Planted the saplings firmly into the soil.
Added soil and supported the plant upright.
Watered the plants immediately after plantation.
Ensured cleanliness around the plantation area.
Took responsibility for regular monitoring and watering.
Learned the importance of trees in maintaining environmental balance and improving air quality.
Understood how small actions can contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Gained practical knowledge about tree plantation and basic plant care.
Developed teamwork, coordination, and leadership skills while working with fellow scouts.
