Honourable Minister for Education Jai Bir Rai, also the President of Bhutan Scouts Association, graced the Opening of Globalizing Messengers of Peace Network for Rovers, Phase ll, in Thimphu on 2nd August. A team of offcials from Asia Pacific Regional Scout chaired by Director and Directorate of Services, Mr. Shree Prassahna Shrivastava in colloboration with Bhutan Scout Association conducted and faciliated a five days workshop to students from 17 Colleges and Instiututions across the Bhutan. The Workshop was organized for five days from 2nd August to 6th August. They trained 67 Rover Scouts on Messenger of Peace and enabled the strengthening of scouting in Bhutan and inspired thousands of adults and young people. The workshop ended on 6th August with awarding of certificates and blue scarf of Messengers of Peace to the participants.
