Scouts in Service to Mother Earth
Every year there is 3 days local festival celebration and there is lots of waste produce by the community due to poor waste management. So, in order to maintain aesthetic beauty of the community, I decided to lead my scouts to collecting the waste.
1. Wrote application to the school administration and gewog (local government office) administration seeking permission to conduct mass cleaning program. 2. Talked with colleagues and scouts for their volunteerism. 3. The volunteers were divided into three teams and each team was lead by one scout leader. The area was assigned and the program was conducted successfully. 4. The collected waste especially those which were severely demaged or those cannot be reused were send to the landfill area.
1. Team Spirit 2. Love for Mother Earth
