Scouts Serve: Campus Clean-Up for a Greener CCNHS
Inspired by the need to take action for a cleaner, greener school environment. As Scouts, we are committed to service and sustainability. This project allowed us to support our school’s Ecological Solid Waste Management program and bring the Green Skills for Youth-Led Climate Action advocacy to life. We saw this as a chance to lead by example, promote environmental awareness, and show that youth can make a real difference—starting in our own campus.
With teamwork and purpose! The Scouts of Cabadbaran City High, in partnership with our school’s Ecological Solid Waste Management team and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, led a campus-wide clean-up supported by students, teachers, and local officials. This united effort brought the Greenskills advocacy to life—proving that through collaboration, youth can lead real, sustainable change, collecting and properly sorting over 60 kg of waste!
We learned that challenges—like time limits, bad weather, and limited resources—can’t stop a united team with a shared purpose. Through cooperation, flexibility, and commitment, we proved that obstacles can be turned into opportunities. Most of all, we saw that passion and teamwork are powerful tools for making a real difference in our community.
