"Scouts provide help, a message of hope in the flood"
The purpose of this project was to provide emergency food, water, and essential supplies to flood-affected people and to reflect the humanitarian role of scouts in times of crisis.
In this project, the scout members of my unit joined forces with Red Crescent volunteers to distribute emergency relief supplies to flood-affected areas. We delivered essential aid, including food, water, and medicine, to the needy. Through this initiative, we gained practical experience in empathy, leadership, and community service.
Through this project, direct assistance has reached marginalized people in flood-affected areas.
The helpless families have received some relief by receiving necessary food and medical assistance.
This experience of the Scouts and Red Crescent volunteers will further enhance their skills and humanity in dealing with disasters in the future.
I learned the importance of humanity and compassion from flood relief distribution. In this sense of responsibility towards the society and teamwork experience is gained.
