Scouts' Power Forever, Protecting Our Homeland; Remembering the Past, Walking Together in Chung-Shan

To put the Scout spirit of "doing one good deed a day" into practice and respond to the concept of social care, we will be holding the National Scout Service Day this year—"Recalling Memories and Caring Action." This event is a special collaboration with the Taoyuan City Dementia Care Association, taking place at the "Recalling Memories Station" near Chong-Shan Elementary School.

Through companionship, interaction, and learning, Scouts will convey warmth through practical actions and deepen their understanding of issues related to an aging society. Through this service, Scouts will not only experience the importance of companionship but also cultivate empathy and social responsibility, becoming willing and dedicated helpers.

During this event, Scouts will engage in joyful singing and dancing, heartwarming craft workshops, and diverse interactive games with the association's seniors, bridging generational gaps and creating unforgettable moments together. In addition, we have invited professional instructors from the association to explain to the Scouts how to recognize the early signs of dementia in family members, enabling everyone to better understand dementia and improve their ability to care for their families.
