Scouting, First Aid & Sustainable Development.

A skill-development and awareness session was conducted at IBMR College for BBA students, focusing on leadership, emergency response, and sustainability. The program introduced Scouting values under Bharat Scouts and Guides, highlighting discipline, teamwork, and community service. A practical First Aid and Rescue session covered CPR basics, bleeding control, fracture management, fire safety, and disaster preparedness to build confidence in handling emergencies.
The project was executed through coordinated planning and interactive delivery at IBMR College. After obtaining permission and scheduling with the BBA Department, structured sessions were conducted combining presentations, real-life examples, and practical demonstrations. Scouting values were introduced under Bharat Scouts and Guides, followed by hands-on First Aid and Rescue demonstrations including CPR basics and emergency response techniques.
Youth respond positively to experiential and activity-based learning methods. Scouting values of discipline, teamwork, and leadership strongly resonate with management students. Practical First Aid demonstrations significantly improve confidence in handling real-life emergencies. Students show increased awareness of civic responsibility when connected to the mission of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
