Scout Triathlon for Youth

Following the initial results shared in our previous project update, we saw strong interest and engagement from young people. These early achievements became a powerful motivation to continue the project, expand activities, and work towards the goals established during the planning phase. The positive response from participants confirmed the relevance of combining sports, scouting, and leadership development as tools for youth engagement.

During the second half of the project, we expanded our activities beyond sports by introducing first aid, personal safety, and outdoor survival training. We also organized Scout workshops and practical activities that attracted both new members and experienced Scouts. Participants took part in running competitions and prepared for our Scout camp, developing teamwork, leadership, and confidence through hands-on experiences.

One of the key lessons learned was that young people remain engaged for longer when sports activities are combined with practical Scout skills and real-life learning experiences. We also found that first aid, personal safety, and outdoor survival activities were just as attractive to participants as sports events. The project confirmed that the Scout Method and learning by doing are effective tools for attracting, retaining, and developing young people within Scouting.
